Zarrin Dasht Sofreh Development Initiative – Advancing Smart and Sustainable Production

In 2021, Zarrin Dasht Sofreh took a major step toward expansion with the aim of increasing production capacity and achieving global standards in tomato and fruit processing. That year marked the launch of a full-scale modernization of the production lines and the beginning of the Zarrin Dasht Development Plan—an initiative designed with a forward-looking approach and a focus on smart management of the agricultural supply chain to address the complex challenges of logistics and raw-material sourcing. As part of this project, the production capacity for tomato paste and fruit purée was increased to 1,500 tons per day. This transformation not only led to significant improvements in efficiency and waste reduction but also paved the way for elevating product quality to international standards. Equipped with advanced machinery from ING. Rossi (Italy) and inspired by the industrial model of Parma—the global hub of tomato paste production—Zarrin Dasht Sofreh now stands among the most modern and largest tomato paste production lines in Iran and the region. The integration of cutting-edge technology, local engineering expertise, and intelligent process management has made Zarrin Dasht a benchmark in sustainable, efficient, and export-oriented industrial production. Today, backed by years of experience and continuous investment in modern technologies, Zarrin Dasht Sofreh sees its mission as going beyond production. We are committed to creating value across the national food supply chain by delivering healthy, high-quality products tailored to the preferences of Iranian consumers and international markets.
